Jersey sheets are really nice they feel like a t- shirt.I n the summer you will burn up in satin and silk. But you can always find nice jersey sheets and their not that expensive, reasonable prices

I’ve always liked satin better than silk.

that makes you cold @ night, and slips right off the bed…

they are smooth but very slick, lol i chased my blanket all over the bedroom

Silk is smoother than satin. Satin can be a little stiff.

I’d recommend jersey or egyptian cotton. Those are phenomenal and you won’t slide off the bed.

silk is definately better for both, i have had both types and the silk is definately the best, but of course the silk is more expensive

I have satin sheets, they are very soft and comfy, but i have to say a little annoying, they are hard to tuck in because they’re so silky they just fall right off when you tuck in one corner the other corner comes undone, and the comforter always slips off onto the floor… but it’s not that big of a deal, they are definitely like a Vicky’s secret nightgown.

Hard question there. First off, Satin would be cheaper. Silk, there is silk made out of scraps swept off the floor, or the solid thing. I forgot what the two types were called unfortunately. Satin is smooth and almost silky to the touch but can be a pain to take care of. Silk, there is the issue of cost to get the good stuff. But if money is no issue for you, I’d go with silk. If you don’t mind the problems associated with Satin, satin.

cotton with goosedown feathers are the softest

silk is softer…but a pain to clean. i really prefer bamboo sheets! for the past few years, bamboo has really gained popularity in it’s cloth form, and that stuff is as soft as a baby’s butt! try it out, you will not be disappointed.

I bought new sheets the other month because they were on sale and know I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANYTHING ELSE! Egyptian Cotton!! They are smooth feeling like satin but will not make you “slip” off the bed and they keep you cold in the summer!! That is my suggestion! Egyptian Cotton!

Beware of satin sheets. They never really became hugely popular because the top sheet and everything else like your comforter that is on top will slide off the bottom sheet while you sleep. You will wake up totally uncovered and maybe a little chilled.

Egyptian Cotton with a high thread count you will love them check Foley’s or Dillard’s

victoria’s secret stuff are usually part nylon, not entirely silk.

consider higher thread counts on the sheets that you buy. high thread count percale is very practical.

I have 3 sets of Jersy sheets I love them . They are light enough to keep you cool in the summer and are great to climb into on a cold winter night. No more cold sheets for me
